By road, Bear Creek Ranch is located 32 miles northwest of Council, Idaho on a good road. The last twenty miles of this road meanders through the Payette National Forest. The road is exceptionally scenic and was rebuilt, paved and completed in October 2002 by the Federal Road Department and terminates at the entrance to Bear Creek Ranch.
